1. Place your watch on the non-dominant wrist
This is mostly done to allow practicality. In fact, it would not be functional, for instance, to check the time while writing. Additionally, this practice is followed to avoid damaging the watch and lengthen its lifespan. When worn on the dominant hand it is more likely to be exposed to scratches.
3. Avoid a smartwatch at formal events
Despite allowing to change the strap, smartwatches are strictly forbidden for fancy situations. It is not only a matter of the rubber band that can easily be changed into a leather one. Rather the rectangular watch face is able to kill even the best suit.
4. Match the strap with the outfit
Generally speaking a rubber wristband fits sporty looks; metal ones go with casual attires and leather with dressy ones. In the case of a leather strap, it must match the other leathers worn, such as belts and shoes.
